The Karaoke at Mauerpark

Sunday is flea market day all over Berlin. Cozy or big, furniture or vinyl oriented, to get cheap clothes or a nice sausage, there are kinds for all tastes. One – however – is special and carries an unprecedented attraction: the karaoke at Mauerpark. The biggest flea market in town hosts in its park next door a giant, open air arena that respects the laws of democracy. Here all brave singers – talented or untuned – share the same stage and effusive crowd.

Going on since 2009 the karaoke – that gathers hundreds of people every weekend – is held by a single and charismatic dreamer and his modest equipment attached to a bike. The guy knows what he is doing and how to cheer up his public, an eclectic, performatic, international and colorful crowd.

Leave the fear at home; bring you moves, the years of singing-in-the-shower-practice and the will to put it all out. Through yourself on stage. We will be there celebrating and supporting your courage.

When: Every Sunday with no rain, from 15h to 20h. Here you can check the program.

How to get there? Metro – U2 Eberswalderstr; U8 Bernauerstr | Tram – M10 Wollinerstr. / Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn Sportpark.
