ibiza hot spots

Ibiza travel tips

Hippies to celebrities. Sun worshippers to clubbers. Ibiza is a favourite holiday destination for many. The list of local hot spots is endless but here are some of our favourite Ibiza hot spots.

FOOD & DRINKS

La Paloma: Yummiest affordable homemade food and good vibes. Pray they serve the chocolate lava cake when you go there!

Beach House Ibiza: This place has opened last summer but is a super nice surprise in between the other touristy establishments in the Playa d’en Bossa area! They have a juice bar, a restaurant, and several lounge areas where you can enjoy DJs playing the hottest tunes.

Amante is great for drinks, lunch and dinner. Stunning location on top of a cliff at Cala Llonga

Experimental Beach: a small dusty and bumpy ride will lead to this stunning beach club with dito design interior!

Cotton Beach Club: a bright white interior with (again…) stunning views of the Mediterranean bright blue sea. You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at this Norwegian owned beach club or just enjoy the sunset with a cocktail. They also have day beds at the seaside.

La Oliva restaurant in the heart of the old town of Ibiza city

TO DO
Sol d’en Serra in Calla llonga; sit, lounge, eat, have coffee, enjoy the views.

Hippy market San Carles on Saturdays. Very touristy so go early if you want to avoid traffic.

St Eulalia is a nice little village with small shops.

Hippies on drums at sunset on Sunday at Benirras beach.

Formentera: if you have enough time, visit this magical island for a day (bounty island sand beaches)!

BEACHES

Salinas: nice beach, lunch of drinks at the Jockey Club or Sa Trinxa.

Es Cavalettes; nice beach (partly naked…).

Situated right before Salinas/ Es Cavallet is Cap den Falco; fantastic sunset (bar).

Cala Comte; favourite with bright waters and good vibes. Mainly locals and Italians.

Cala Jondal: if you want to see and bes een; expensive clubs like the Blue Marlin, Tropicana etc.

DO’S & DON’TS

  • If you want to see the beautiful parts of the island, rent a car!
  • Don’t drink & drive. The roads are dangerous and the police is fierce.
  • There are many pickpockets so don’t walk around with too much cash and don’t bring expensive jewellery
